Driving Directions



Choose the one that applies to you:

Travelling East on Route 17
Take Exit 122 (Crystal Run Rd./East Main St.). At the end of the off ramp, turn left on East Main St. Follow E. Main St. approximately 3.5 miles until you pass the firehouse on your right. After the firehouse, turn right on Orchard St. At the next red light the library is directly in front of you. Turn right at the light, then turn left into the library parking lot.


Travelling West on Route 17
Take Exit 122 (Crystal Run Rd./East Main St.) At the first light, turn right. At the second light, turn right on Crystal Run Rd. At the bottom of the hill it becomes East Main St. Follow E. Main St. approximately 3.5 miles until you pass the firehouse on your right. After the firehouse, turn right on Orchard St. At the next red light the library is directly in front of you. Turn right at the light, then turn left into the library parking lot.


Travelling South on the Thruway
Take Exit 17 off the Thruway to Route 84 West, then follow the directions from Route 84 travelling west (below) to find the library.


Travelling North on the Thruway
Take Exit 16 off the Thruway to Route 17 West, then follow the directions for Route 17 travelling west (above) to find the library.


Travelling East on Route 84
Take Exit 4-E to Route 17 East (New York). Next, you will take the first Exit 122 (Middletown Road). When you come to the end of the exit ramp, you make a left turn to East Main Street. Go straight on East Main Street about 3.5 miles until you pass the firehouse on your right. One block after the firehouse, turn right on Orchard Street. At the next red light, the library will be directly in front of you. Turn right at the light, then turn left into the library parking lot.


Travelling West on Route 84
Take Exit 4-E to Route 17 East (New York). Next, you will take the first Exit 122. When you come to the end of the exit ramp, you make a left turn to East Main Street. Go straight on East Main Street about 3.5 miles until you pass the firehouse on your right. One block after the firehouse, turn right on Orchard Street. At the next red light, the library will be directly in front of you. Turn right at the light, then turn left into the library parking lot.

OR

Take Exit 3, Route 17M. Turn right off the rampl. At the second light (Dolsontown Road/Route 78 - Wiedy's Furniture) turn left onto Dolsontown Rd. Uphill across RR tracks and turn right at first light onto Waywayanda Ave. Follow Waywayanda (past parochial school, American Legion, OCCC) and through two lights to library. The library will be straight ahead on horizon as you pass post office, police station, and city hall.
