  • E-mail is a popular form of electronic communication.
  • You need an e-mail address to send and receive electronic messages.
  • You must establish an e-mail account to have an e-mail address.
  • There are two major types of e-mail: ISP-based and web mail.
  • To send e-mail, log into your account e-mail and click COMPOSE or NEW MESSAGE.
  • You can delete, reply to, or forward messages you receive.
  • Spam (junk mail) is a common problem with e-mail.
  • File attachments received by e-mail can be dangerous.
  • You can create folders and filters to organize incoming messages.
  • Always remember to completely exit out of your e-mail account when done.
