Composing Your First MessageOnce you successfully establish an e-mail account, you can test it right away by sending a message to yourself. To compose a new message, click the "Compose" or "New Message" button in your e-mail service. This will bring up a special window. Where there is a place where you can type next to the "TO:" field, enter your complete e-mail address. Next, type the word TEST in the "SUBJECT" field, which is used to briefly describe the content of your message when you write to someone else. Finally, click in the body of the message (the largest area beneath the Subject field where you can type). Type something, then click SEND. Your message should be transmitted soon. |
