H. Committee Reports
Building & Grounds: Our Head Custodian has been working on repairs to the ceiling
and repairs to a section of rotten plywood flooring in the Board Room. Repairs are
ongoing.

I have been approached by a library patron who expressed concern about what he
characterized as poor light quality in our first-floor book stacks. During our conversation
he revealed that he owns a lighting manufacturing company in New Jersey, and he would
like to donate some of his surplus materials in an effort to improve lighting in patron
areas of the building. We are currently working with him to change the lighting in a small
section of the first floor Government Documents/Reference Office to gauge the benefit of
a larger lighting improvement project in the future.

Both of our HVAC contractors have experienced delays in creating inspection reports of
our HVAC system. One contractor has sited, "Trying to get projects out to bid and
dealing with extreme lead times on equipment and material." The other contractor had a
health issue which precluded him from coming into the building. I have emphasized to
both the importance of getting these reports to us as soon as possible.

Furniture for phase one of the first-floor remodel has been ordered and should arrive prior
to the end of April 2022.

Our exterminating contractor has informed us that we are not currently experiencing any
infestation issues.
