Ms. Amelio moved for adoption of the minutes for the March 9, 2022 monthly
meeting. Bishop Smith seconded.

Mr. Berkowitz moved to go into Executive Session at 5:04pm to discuss Personnel 
Employment History. Mrs. Crown seconded.

(A copy of the Director's Report sent to each Board member is attached to the official
minutes.) Added, Grace Riario has rescheduled and will attend either the May 11th or 
June 8th Board meeting to discuss the Minisink Library Project.

April 13, 2022 2021 Budget Transfer #7

Mr. Berkowitz moved that the Board of Trustees of Middletown Thrall Library
accepts the following budget transfer, to reclassify Workers' Compensation Insurance
per new NYS OSC account code requirements:

1. TO: L9040.8804.12.0000.0    Workers' Compensation Insurance    $22,000.00

FROM: L9060.8804.12.0000.0     	  Health & Dental		   $22,000.00

G.    Financial Officer's Report Cont.
Mr. Berkowitz moved that the regular monthly disbursements for February, 2022 in the    
amount of $174,289.26 having been audited by Ms. Marlena Lange and found to be 
correct, be approved. Ms. Lange seconded.

Mr. Berkowitz moved that the regular monthly disbursements for March, 2022 in the 
amount of $132,759.00 having been audited by Ms. Marlena Lange and found to be 	  
correct, be approved. Ms. Lange seconded.

H.   Committee Reports 
Building & Grounds: Repairs to the ceiling of the Board Room have been completed
by our custodial staff. 

Repairs have been completed to the custodial office drain sink waste line by our
custodial staff.

We have received one of the two HVAC system evaluation reports and I have a call into
the other contractor to see when that report will be delivered. 

Our exterminating contractor has informed us that we are not currently experiencing any
infestation issues. 


I.      Old Business
Mr. Berkowitz advised that the collection box for the Kiwanis Plastic Bag Recycling
Program has been doing well. So far 250lbs out of the 500lbs needed has been collected.


J.     New Business   
Ms. Lange moved for the approval of the Annual Report to the Community. 
Mr. Berkowitz seconded.
