Director's Report III. Discussion and Recommendation A. Mr. Bell, President, opened the meeting at 5:01pm. B. Minutes Mrs. Sciucco moved for adoption of the minutes of the April 14, 2021 meeting. Mrs. Crown seconded. Ayes: Bell, Berkowitz, Lange, Crown, Sciucco, Smith - (6) Noes: None Motion declared approved. (5/12/21 - 22) C. Visitor Comments/Staff Report Con't. None D. Correspondence A copy of any correspondence is sent to each Board member and is attached to the official Minutes. Mr. Pfisterer read a memo from the Librarians Union and the Clerks and Custodians in reference to the contract negotiations. (See attached) Mrs. Crown and Mr. Berkowitz will be the negotiators for the Board. They will send a letter from the Board to the Unions to set up a meeting. E. President's Report No report. F. Director's Report (A copy of the Director's Report sent to each Board member is attached to the official minutes.) Mr. Pfisterer discussed about the effort to create a public library for Minisink Valley residents. G. Financial Officer's Report Mr. Berkowitz moved that the regular monthly disbursements for February, 2021 in the amount of $78,163.15 having been audited by Marlena Lange and found to be correct, be approved. Mrs. Sciucco seconded. Ayes: Bell, Berkowitz, Lange, Crown, Sciucco, Smith - (6) Noes: None Motion declared approved. (5/12/21 - 23) H. Committee Reports Building & Grounds: Repairs to the roof began on Monday, May 10, 2021. Our HVAC contractor will be conducting minor repairs to air handler three which regulates the temperature in the original building structure. Our exterminators have notified us that we are not currently experiencing any insect infestation issues. I. Old Business No report. J. New Business Discussion was held for a formation of a Budget Committee. K. Adjournment Mrs. Sciucco moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:25pm. Bishop Robert Smith seconded.
