Searchasaurus is a database designed especially for young researchers.

Search by keyword or explore topics simply and quickly by clicking on fun pictures of dinosaurs.

Access Options:

This database can be accessed from any of Thrall Library's public Internet or research computers.

Concerning access outside the library:

Members of Middletown Thrall Library may log in to this service using their library barcode.

Tips & Special Features:

After you search, you can limit your results by clicking on special tabs above the search results. These tabs include: Biographies, Books & Encyclopedias, EBSCO Animals, Magazines, Newspapers, Pictures, and Radio and TV News Transcripts.

If you want to find images (pictures, photographs, drawings/illustrations), click the Pictures button at the top of the Searchasaurus screen. This lets you search the Image Collection, which has over 200,000 images.
