Along the top of the database page are several tabs you can click:
  • Home - This takes you to the main Salem Science page.
  • Search - The brings up the search page.
  • Browse - Here is where you can browse topics and subtopics.
  • People - View biographical entries of persons in the encyclopedia. Select from A-Z (last name).
  • Profile - If you register at the Salem website, you can save articles, searches, and citations. Registration requires and e-mail address.
Under the search box is an "Advanced Search" button. Once you click it, you can specify any number of parameters, such as a date range, which keywords are included or excluded from your search, which category you would like to search, and more.
