month later. The house next to it was tom down in 1935. BELOW: 1938 photo of South Street from the Square showing the original facade of the Savings Bank which was built 1924-5, the old bank building to its left demolished in 1982 to expand the bank, and the State Theatre, now part of the bank's parking lot.
