The Congregational Church is where it is today on East Main St. The school was on South St, and the Road to Swamp and Bloomingburgh includes part of Highland Ave. North St. Was not yet inexistence BELOW. Middletown's oldest house, JIS East Main S. the comer of Gardiner Ave. The west part of the house was built 1775 by Nathaniel Wells und wife Jerusha Wickham.
