BELOW: Painting done c1865 by Julia E. Bradner of North St. shows Middletown Bank at left, which was built on the site of Middletown's second school, Grace Church would be on the left, out of the painting. The small house and barn stood about where Depot St. is, and the building at right stood on the corner, now site of a small park.
