BELOW: In 1919, owner "Chick" Higham sold the old hotel to O. S. Hathaway who converted the structure into an apartment building. During Urban Renewal, the City purchased the building (1961), and demolished it in 1963. The photos were taken shortly before and shortly after demolition.
