Our Mission
The Middletown Thrall Library Reference Department's central mission is to help our patrons locate resources and library materials. It is a joy and an honor to serve the information needs of our community.
The Reference Desk is usually staffed by two librarians
during library hours.
Requests for research assistance may be made in person,
by telephone, mail,
or through our online Ask a Librarian service.
Our Collections
Collection development occurs throughout the year. The library's collections include print, audio, videos, ebooks, periodicals, journals, and other items in all formats. These items can be searched through our library catalog.
We also provide access to numerous databases and encyclopedias, and other resources such as business and personal finance, critical thinking, educational services, government information, history, literature, local history, poetry, and more.
Most of these services can be accessed by current members of Thrall outside of the library (e.g. at home via their personal computers).
Our patrons can ask about library materials, submit reference questions, and suggest items for our library collections.
