AT LEFT: McQuoid's American LaFrance steamer which arrived November 5, 1907 and was placed in service on December 9 after testing. This was Middletown's first and only steamer, Phoxo taken in November, 1907. by Charles A. Ketcham.

AT RIGHT: Middletown's second fire company to be motorized was the McQuoid's with the purchase of this truck from the Victor Motor Car Company of Buffalo (NY). It was placed in service November 15, 1911, Photo taken by A. H. Still shortly after the track's arrival.

A LEFT: Phoenix hose truck in front of their John Street fire house. The truck was delivered July 24, 1900 and was built in Newburgh by Delancy & Colvill.
