ABOVE: The Ontario Hose Co's first motor truck, an American LaFrance delivered February 5, 1916. Before this, they had been using a hand-drawn apparatus, AT RIGHT: The Firensen's Memorial Fountain was erected through the efforts of Joel B. Wheeler. It was placed in the old gold fish pool in Thrall Park and dedicated October 17, 1907. The fireman holds a baby in one arm and held a lantern with the other, but this was vandalized years ago.
